Without the Communities Supportit would not be possible to help animals like Daisy. AAR does not have a Veterianarian on staff. AAR has found a few Veterianarians in the area that are willing to help shelter animals at a discount.

I am Daisy a two year Border Collie mix with three babies. I was homeless when I had my babies under a Trailer House by Hooks Airport in Tomball. An AAR volunteer who rescued my pups had to crawl through a 2x3 hole in the trailer skirting and was confronted with glass, sharp metal and puppy poop.. My pups were in pretty good shape and were just missing a little hair. Me I was missing hair and I have heartworms. My left leg is hurt and I will be going in for exays 5-18-10 to find out the damage. Keep in touch to find out my progress.

UPDATE 7-30-10 Daisy had her surgery at A&M. They re broke her leg and realigned it and set it in place with pins and put her patella back in place. Recovery time is 6 weeks being crated . The bill was $3,100. We would like to thank the people who donated to Daisy's surgery costs, without the publics help this would not be possible. She is recovering nicely in a foster home and will go back in 4 weeks for a recheck.
AAR would like to thank Supporters Payton and Amy for having a Lemonade Stand to raise over $78.00 for the animals at the shelter.
